Bringing tradition
back to life
100 YEARS OF HISTORY
In 1927 the Luboz family settled in Courmayeur, opening a tobacco shop-bazaar that is still run today by Stefano and Aldo, the fourth generation, making it the oldest store in the village.
GREAT-GRANDFATHER MAURICE OPENED THE DOORS ...
… of his house to provide hospitality to tourists who at that time only vacationed in Courmayeur during the summer.
In 1970 grandfather Attilio decided to renovate all the apartments by introducing heating to accommodate the increasing number of tourists in the winter period as well.
In September 2021 a complex renovation of the house began and will end in spring 2023, making the apartments more comfortable, more mountainous and with more services, always, however, with the goal of reviving the ancient tradition of welcoming guests to the beautiful Courmayeur.
Five
apartments
two types
Five apartments were created from the renovation, divided into two types:
three three-room apartments, consisting of a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom and a living room with kitchenette, good for 2/4 people;
Two four-room apartments for 6 people, consisting of a double bedroom with private bathroom, a bedroom with two beds (possibility of making them a double bed), a bedroom with two single beds, a shared bathroom, and a large living room with kitchenette.
Each accommodation was given a name of a bivouac in our Mont Blanc range.
